The lyricist of the year goes too...
Rapper Lil Wayne walked away winning Lyricist of the Year and the Alltel Wireless People's Champ at the BET Awards. Wayne received 12 nominations, beating out Jay-Z, DJ Khaled, T.I. and Kanye West to win the MVP of the Year award, which he dedicated to his daughter. The rapper stated in his acceptance speech he's going to be a dad again soon. "I got a son dropping any day, pray for me," he told the crowd.
